Louise Johansson Waite is an artist and curator based in Norrköping, Sweden. She has been exhibiting as an artist as well as curating events and shows both locally and internationally at institutions like Wellcome Collection (uk), Fiskars Village Biennial (fi) and Galleri Box (se). 

In her art practice she uses tactile and sensory materials to build interactive installations. The context in which the piece is being exhibited in is examined and interpreted, giving the audience an intimate, curated experience. She has a great interest in self-organising within the arts, multi-sensory practices and food as a catalyst for critical thought and community.

She holds a bachelor degree in Fine Art Critical Practice BA (Hons) from the University of Brighton (UK) as well as a degree in project management within culture from Kulturverkstan (Sweden). She works as the Artistic Director at Verkstad konsthall, she is the co-founder of the platform FLOCK for participatory practices together with artist Nina Jensen and works as an a regional art developer at Konstfrämjandet Östergötland.

She is a member of The Post humanitites Hub at Linköpings University, KRO and Konstnärscentrum Mitt.
